Consultation |
The first step is a free, no-obligation phone consultation. I'll ask a few questions to get to know your requirements. Do you have any kind of website already? Do you have a logo? Have you seen any other websites you really like? I will suggest some features you might find useful and answer any questions you might have. |
Quote |
Unless I have some fancy features to research, I'll probably be able to quote a price over the phone. I'll send a written quote to you by email that will include a full breakdown of everything we discussed and everything I'd do for you as part of the project. |
Agreement |
If it's meant to be, let's make it official! I'll put our agreement together in an electronic contract and email it to you. Once you've read it, you can "sign" the document online. I'll receive a notification, and get straight to work! I'll request a 50% deposit at the start of the project and you can settle the balance when we push the button to launch. |
Pushing the button |
Launching the new website will feel like a big deal, and it is, but don't worry - changes can of course still be made after it's launched. I'll "repoint" your web domain so that it begins to show your new website. |
Website training |
This is what Website Independence is all about. You'll have the "keys" and the knowledge to log in and make edits on your own. I'll provide an online training session for you and/or your colleagues. You'll also receive a personalised instruction manual for your website's dashboard. |
Ongoing support |
Don't worry if you get stuck - I'll be around to help edit the website if you need me. My current hourly rate is £55. Any work you need me to complete after your website is launched would be fully itemised in invoicing. Support can take the format of adding new features, editing content, supplementary training, or a combination. |
